Model 3150Walk-in TubSize: 31 W x 50 L x 36 H (inches) The 3150 model is Bliss Tubs’ roomiest model in the retrofit series. The tub’s 31-inch width means that the tub can normally accommodate a bather with a body weight of up to 300 pounds or so. Another advantage of the 3150 tub is that the less-than-sixty-inch turning radius means that the tub can be installed in a narrow bathroom. This model comes with a ten-inch wide extension kit which can fill in a 60 inch space or cut to tailor the fit to less than 60 inches. The tub’s water requirement of approximately 40-50 gallons (depending on the body size of the bather) means that a fully-functioning 40-gallon hot water heater will be able to meet your hot water need. Therefore, your existing hot water capacity will likely be sufficient. In addition, the tub will fill and empty faster than tubs that require significantly more water.
