bathroom space and take measurements. Our expert will
consult with you as to any special health conditions, recommend the best walk-in tub solution to fit your needs, and explain
the installation process.
Installation of a walk-in tub is straightforward work for a
contractor or plumber and typically includes the following:
Protective plastic, etc to cover floors and living areas to preclude damage during the installation process
If needed, temporary removal of door(s) and portions of
door jamb(s) to accommodate the existing tub and move in
of the walk-in tub
Removal of existing tub and faucets
Setting and leveling of new tub
New plumbing lines for water supply, if required
Tie-in of drain to existing plumbing
Electrical tie-in for jetted tubs, including GFI electrical outlet
Replacement tiling or other wall material, if needed
Testing of new tub
